5 noticeable signs you need a mental break

I am no stranger to taking a mental health break. For those who are new to my blog, I stepped away from blogging for a little over a year to focus on my future more. Without going into much detail, I was a pre-med student but decided I had a stronger passion for psychology (which was my major.) Fast forward to now — I am on the journey to becoming a clinical psychologist. I am a life coach (who also works in the ER.) My blog name + niche has changed (so if you see my old name that is why.) 

I have had a lot on my plate during this past year between switching universities to studying for the GRE exam and doing volunteer work that is required to graduate (this doesn't include being a full-time student, working in the ER or adding an internship to my schedule (and personal things.) This is where mental breaks are necessary + should really be done before reaching a breaking point. I will share with you signs it's time to take a mental break (later I will cover preventing these things from building up.)

Healthy Habits For 2018

Happy New Year Everyone! I am excited to start this new year with many new ideas. I am currently hunkered down in my home during this blizzard we are having in NJ. I thought I'd make a list of healthy habits for the new year 2018! 

Some say it takes 21 days to break and create new habits, I'd say it takes around 3 months depending on what habit you're trying to change. Either way, I think creating new habits in January is the perfect way to start off the new year! 

These healthy habits aren't in any particular order.
